About

Do you want fries with that?

Would you like to see a dessert menu?

Do you know guac is extra?

If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, you've come to the right place.

Hi, my name is Rachel and I’m a dessert person. I started The Sprinkle Project as a way to document and share my sometimes sweet, sometimes savory, always over the top creations and adventures in the kitchen.

I operate/bake under the belief that everything – birthdays, graduations, Wednesday – is worth celebrating, and that good food – more specifically, cookies – and celebrating go hand in hand (or in this case, fork in hand).

I believe that there is always room for dessert, that you’re never too old for funfetti cupcakes, and that while Nutella may not solve all your problems, it certainly won’t make things worse.

Here you will find recipes that reflect those beliefs. The Sprinkle Project is your guide to making food for any celebration, even if the celebration is the food itself.

So if you agree that Halloween Oreo’s taste better than regular Oreo’s, that brunch is the most important meal of the day, or you can often be found eating frosting before 11 am, then you’re in the right place. Welcome to the Sprinkle Project.
